AT-ConsultingAT Consulting’s development history began in 2001 with the formation of the consulting company ARS-Telecom by a group of professionals with extensive experience in the world’s leading IT consulting companies. The new company began offering high-quality information technology consulting services to the companies of telecommunications, insurance, banking, and many other sectors of the economy.

In 2001 the company started working on its first orders, participating in a project to implement a billing system at VimpelCom.

Collaboration with VimpelCom continued in 2002, when the company engaged ARS-Telecom to implement a regional migration project for the implemented Amdocs centralized billing system. The scope of the project included in-depth analysis of the client’s business, restructuring of the business processes of regional branches, and data migration from old billing systems. User training in new business processes and information applications was organized at all regional branches.

In 2004, ARS-Telecom was renamed ARSTEL Consulting. Projects implemented included automation of business processes at OJSC VimpelCom using the Oracle E-Business Suite (jointly with other consulting companies) and creation at OJSC VimpelCom of the world’s fourth-largest data warehouse in terms of volume, which AT Consulting is still supporting and expanding.

At the end of the year, the company’s staff had grown to 150 people. In 2005, ARSTEL Consulting was selected as an outsourcing company to maintain and update the Oracle E-Business Suite. A new Banking line of activity was set up to provide services to the financial sector.

The company ATC Kaz was founded to represent ARSTEL Consulting’s interests in Kazakhstan. By the end of 2005, the company employed 250 people, and the group’s total revenue reached USD 15.5 million, or more than twice the figure for 2004. The company’s turnover was distributed among implementation of ERP systems (48%), Business Intelligence tools (27%), and CRM solutions (25%). Large-scale restructuring of the business to unite the companies under the single brand name AT Consulting took place in 2006 in order to help clients increase efficiency and production effectiveness through advanced solutions and the combined knowledge of the design teams.

A CCIL project to set up a knowledge base at OJSC VimpelCom was launched, along with a project to implement the VimpelCom-Regions technical infrastructure in the CIS.

Today, the company employs 300 people, a sixfold increase since 2001. and its growth rate is proof of the effectiveness of the solutions we offer our clients.
